A new study from Central Queensland University's NeuroHealth Lab, published in Nutritional Neuroscience, tested the cognitive and mood effects of the supplement CopaPrime+™ on 60 healthy adults aged 35 to 65. This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial found that participants taking CopaPrime+™ showed significant improvements in positive affect and increased activation in the brain's prefrontal cortex, enhancing working memory during specific tasks. However, there were no significant improvements in delayed recall or changes in the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels. Despite these mixed results, the researchers suggest potential synergistic effects of the supplement for cognitive function over longer periods.
