Atomo Coffee, a US-based coffee alternative brand, has significantly expanded its production capabilities with the opening of a new 33,500 square foot roastery in Seattle. This facility marks a substantial scale-up from their initial operations, enabling the production of four million pounds of beanless espresso annually. The product, made from upcycled ingredients like date pits and sunflower, offers a sustainable alternative to traditional coffee, reducing carbon emissions by 83% and land use by 70%. The expansion follows a successful deal with Bluestone Lane cafes and is set to supply around 2,000 coffee shops, furthering Atomo's reach in the retail market. This development aligns with Atomo's vision to provide eco-friendly coffee solutions globally.
