Steeplejack Brewing co-founders Dustin Harder and Brody Day have expanded their entrepreneurial ventures into the coffee industry with Harder Day Coffee Company. Their first coffee shop and roastery, located in Southeast Portland on Woodstock Boulevard, occupies the space formerly run by Esperanza Trading Company. They have maintained the previous shop's welcoming atmosphere while adding their unique touch. The cafe features a Probat UG-15 roaster, a La Marzocco Linea Classic espresso machine, and a blend of modern industrial and natural aesthetics. Additionally, they have plans to open more locations and have launched a commercial bakery to supply their ventures. Harder Day aims to offer a top-tier coffee and pastry experience that is accessible to all.
