Cup North, a UK-based organization known for promoting specialty coffee, introduces the Queer Coffee Collective: Brews & Brunch event. Aimed at providing a platform for queer individuals in the coffee industry, the event is scheduled for May 11th at CAMP in Margate. Organized by industry experts Hannah Davies and Grace Talbot, the day-long event will feature a combination of culinary and creative activities including brunch with local fare, a sauerkraut making workshop, a tour of Curve Coffee Roasters, and a natural dye workshop. The event will conclude with an espresso martini party at Forts Cafe. Tickets for various activities are available, with some events free of charge. This initiative not only celebrates the queer community but also fosters learning and creativity in the coffee sector.
