E.A.T. Hatches "Coffee Desert" in Syracuse Suburbs

E.A.T., standing for Eggs And Toast, is the latest breakfast and coffee spot to open in the Shady Brook Plaza in Onondaga Hill, offering a fresh dining option in what locals describe as a "coffee desert." Owned by Dave and Marty Richardson, who also run other local eateries, E.A.T. had a soft opening with a menu featuring locally-roasted coffee, breakfast sandwiches, frittatas, scrambles, and guacamole toast, among other items. The café provides a cozy space with charging stations and seating for both quick bites and work meetings. E.A.T. aims to fill the gap in the area's breakfast and coffee scene, distinguishing itself from nearby fast-food chains with quality ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere.
