Big Island Coffee Roasters, a Hawaii-based brand, is innovating with their new edible coffee bars that have gained national attention on Good Morning America. These bars, which resemble chocolate bars, pack the punch of espresso shots—two in the “Latte” bar and three in both the “Hawai’i Sea Salt” and “Classic Espresso Bites” bars. Not just a treat to eat, they can also be dissolved in hot water or milk for a beverage. The packaging, created by Farm Design, took three months to design and aims to reflect the brand’s personality—charming, friendly, energetic, and bold. The packaging features Kilauea volcano and Ōhiʻa Lehua blossoms, emphasizing the local Hawaiian ecosystem. Available in various stores and online, the bars come in different colors to signify their unique flavors and character.
