Kim Kaczmarek, a seasoned special education teacher, has successfully opened Sleepy Coffee, Too, a unique coffee shop in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This shop, which employs individuals with developmental disabilities, is a realization of a dream Kaczmarek has nurtured since launching a school coffee program in 2016. Despite her self-professed lack of business experience, she has overcome numerous challenges by learning on the job and leveraging community support. The grand opening on April 26 was a significant local event, attended by business leaders, officials, and supportive residents, marking a significant achievement in inclusive employment and community building.
