Fort Recovery's New Brew - Grounded Cafe Opens

Fort Recovery welcomes a new drive-thru coffee shop, Grounded Cafe, owned by 23-year-old Becca Wood. Named to reflect its community roots and a play on coffee grounds, the cafe began as a pop-up shop before moving into a permanent location on Wayne Street. Grounded Cafe serves a variety of coffee and tea options, including seasonal specialty lattes like Cupid’s Mocha, Lavender Love, and Honey Bee Latte, as well as pastries baked by Becca's mother. The cafe also features bubble drinks and plans to offer 'grab and go' lunch options soon. The interior design combines feminine speakeasy and Victorian elements, aiming to bring a piece of city culture to the small town. Becca Wood, who once aspired to city life, found inspiration to create a community hub back home in Fort Recovery.
