Green Lane Coffee, originally from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, has opened a new cafe on 96th Street in the Upper West Side, replacing the beloved Gertrude café. This is Green Lane's second Manhattan location, offering its unique Espresso and Soda drink alongside a variety of teas and pastries. The new spot aims to win over locals with its signature beverages crafted from Parlor Coffee beans. Gertrude, an Australian cafe, had been a neighborhood favorite before closing its doors in April after four years. Dmitry Miroshnichenko, the man behind Green Lane, sees this new venture as a fresh chapter in the cafe's journey.
