A recent collaboration between Lewis County Coffee Co. and W.F. West High School has resulted in a unique Christmas-themed coffee cup designed by freshman Harper Grisham. This initiative is part of a contest held for the graphic design class, aiming to provide students with real-world experience in design and client interaction. Around 40 students participated, showcasing their skills and creativity.
• Grisham dedicated nearly four class periods to create her design using Adobe software.
• The cup features a festive design with snow-covered trees and a Santa hat on the company logo.
• Since its release, students and community members have been spotted enjoying coffee in cups featuring Grisham's design.
• The initiative fosters a connection between students and their community, enhancing their learning experience.
This project is significant as it not only promotes student creativity but also strengthens community ties. It highlights the importance of practical learning in education, encouraging students to explore future design opportunities.
