Retro Week Brings Fave Spots Back to Tri-Cities with Fresh Looks

The Tri-Cities are enjoying a blast from the past as beloved local businesses make their return, sporting fresh looks and new locations. Ethos Bakery & Cafe celebrated a soft opening at its newly constructed south Richland location on Keene Road, offering an expanded space for its bakery, milling, and coffee operations. This new spot is a significant upgrade from its original Keene shop, which closed in 2023 for this purpose-built facility. Meanwhile, Wake Up Call has revived a Kennewick coffee shop near Kennewick High School, following a year-long renovation. This location, which has changed hands from Roasters Coffee to Black Rock and now Wake Up Call, retains its cozy, retro charm. Additionally, Gregorys Coffee, a New York-based chain, is set to open in the Columbia Center mall's food court, replacing a former Starbucks. The summer will also see the opening of several other Gregorys Coffee locations, including one at Tacoma Mall. Adding to the excitement, Los Potrillos Seafood & Bar has opened in the former My Froyo Frozen Yogurt spot in Kennewick, offering happy hour specials and karaoke nights.
