Starbucks Brews Sustainability - 6,000+ Greener Stores Worldwide

Starbucks has reached a significant milestone in its sustainability journey by certifying over 6,000 Greener Stores globally, moving closer to its goal of 10,000 by 2025. These stores have been designed in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund and SCS Global Services to meet stringent environmental standards. The initiative is part of Starbucks' broader commitment to reduce carbon emissions, water usage, and waste by 50% by 2030. The company has also introduced the Greener Stores of the Year awards to recognize stores that excel in environmental innovation. These eco-friendly stores feature a range of sustainable practices, including energy and water-saving technologies, waste diversion programs, and the promotion of reusable cups. The new Greener Stores framework has been implemented in all new Starbucks locations in Latin America and the Caribbean since October 2022, further showcasing the company's dedication to environmental stewardship.
