Sustainable Shift - Duni Group Acquires Huskee Cups

Duni Group, a Malmö-based company specializing in sustainable catering solutions, has acquired the Australian reusable coffee cup company Huskee. This marks Duni Group's third merger and acquisition (M&A) activity of 2024, following the acquisition of New Zealand's Decent Packaging and an increased stake in Germany's Relevo. Huskee, established in 2017, produces cups from coffee husk waste and runs HuskeeSwap and Huskee Loop for cup exchange and recycling. The acquisition aims to bolster Duni Group's food and beverage packaging sector, particularly in the Asia Pacific market. Both Huskee and Decent Packaging, with combined annual sales of SEK 200m, will be integrated into Duni Group's BioPak Group segment.
