This change is visibly marked by the rising number of coffee shops catering to the under-35 crowd. Kelly Adams, owner of Bunk House Coffee Bar, notes that 90% of her clientele are young adults, drawn by the shop's plant-based offerings and welcoming atmosphere. The communal nature of coffee shops is fostering new connections among residents. Currently, Tequesta boasts seven coffee establishments, including five independent and two chain locations, creating vibrant social hubs that support remote work and community interaction. This trend not only reflects but also enhances the village's evolving demographic landscape.
