Nerdforge, a popular engineering YouTube channel, has created a unique DIY project that combines a high-performance gaming PC with a fully functional coffee maker. This innovative build is housed in a Corsair Obsidian 1000D case, which was modified to fit a coffee bean grinder and a drip filter. The integration was achieved through extensive modifications, including cutting the chassis and utilizing 3D printed parts for mounting. Control of the coffee-making process is streamlined with an Arduino kit and custom coding, allowing operation via a single button. Despite initial hiccups, the project was successful, showcasing Nerdforge's typical blend of creativity, technical skill, and perseverance. The final product not only performs well as a PC but also adds a unique twist with its coffee-making capability, all while sporting a Scandinavian sauna aesthetic with its wooden accents and LED lighting.
